Vivekanand College, Kolhapur library has a long tradition since 1964 having a collection of 1,17,506 print books, 102 journal & magezines.
Library is situated at center place of the Institutions and also easily accessible for library users. The primary objective of the library is to provide access to print & e-resources and offer reference facility to staff & student and to support educational & research programme of the college.
Library has wide collection of biographies & autobiographies of world famous personalities in various field. To encourage reading habit, students are provided general books ( other than study books).

The college has a well-equipped, spacious and partially computerized central library building. It has an independent building having 8800 sq. ft. area. The ground floor is used for administration the office, stack room, reprography unit. The second floor comprises Reference and Periodical section, Study Rooms for the girls and faculties, andalso a Virtual Learning Centre. On the third floor, there is a study room for the boys.
